HarmoniaHPV Test
HarmoniaHPV Test is a single-use qualitative in vitro test for the detection of DNA from 14 high risk human papillomavirus (HPV) genotypes 16, 18, 31, 33, 35, 39, 45, 51, 52, 56, 58, 59, 66 and 68 in patient cervical specimens. The test carries out multiplexed amplification of target DNA by real-time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) of 14 high risk HPV types in a single analysis. The test specifically identifies HPV genotypes 16 and 18 while concurrently detecting the other high risk genotypes at clinically relevant infection levels. HarmoniaHPV Test is indicated for use as first-line primary screening test to identify women at increased risk for the development of cervical cancer or presence of high-grade disease.
